Sunday, October 15th:  Mountain Bike Day

Time: 1-3pm

Location: Recreation Center on Creek Rd in Middlebury

Each athlete, coach and parent (if they would like to join us), should:

Be registered for MSC and USSA (Kids only, parents participate at their own risk)

Bring a mountain bike and helmet - We can make hybrid/gravel bikes work, but no one is going to be allowed to ride without a helmet.

Wear comfortable clothes, but no loose-fitting pants that could get caught in a drivetrain.

Bring a water bottle or camelback to stay hydrated.

We’ll do a quick bike and helmet check to make sure tires are properly inflated, brakes and adjusted, etc.

We’ll leave the rec and head towards the middle school on the TAM, then turn left, cross Rt & at the light near Keybank and head towards the neighborhood entrance of Battell Woods

Saturday, October 21st:  Equipment Fitting and Dryland

Time: 4-6pm

Location: Recreation Center on Creek Rd

Each athlete should:

Be registered for MSC and USSA.

Wear comfortable work out clothing. Remember: layers can always be taken off

Bring a water bottle or camelback to stay hydrated

Equipment Fitting – Parents please:

Dig out the ski equipment to bring to dryland and drop off in the designated area at the Rec Center

We want to ensure everyone is comfortable and ready for an excellent season.

Each athlete will be fitted for the upcoming ski season by Jason! Boots, helmets, etc.

An equipment list will be given to every athlete with sizing and equipment needs.

Sunday, October 29th:  Dryland & Donuts

Time: 10am

Location: Middlebury College, Virtue Field House

Each athlete should:

Be registered for MSC and USSA.

Wear comfortable work out clothing

Bring a water bottle or camelback to stay hydrated

Get excited to work out with the Middlebury College Ski Team!

Saturday, November 4th:  RASTA Backcountry Trail Work

Nov 4th: RastaVT Trail Day (Optional Volunteer Day)

This is a special event hosted by RastaVT for community members to get involved and learn about trail maintenance and building backcountry trails in our own backyard. This is a volunteer event. For more information please check out Rasta’s website: http://www.rastavt.org/events/

Time: 9am – 4pm
Location: Long Trail Parking Lot/Trailhead at Brandon Gap RastaVT Day at Brandon Gap

Each person volunteering should:

Be sure to pack a lunch and appropriate clothing for the weather

Bring a water bottle or camelback to stay hydrated

Sunday, November 12th:  Dryland

Time: 1 pm - 3 pm

Location: TBD

Each athlete should:

Be registered for MSC and USSA.

Wear comfortable work out clothing

Sunday, November 19th:  Maintenance Day at the Bowl

Time: 10am – 12pm

Location: Middlebury Snow Bowl

Each athlete should:

Be a member of MSC and USSA.

Wear appropriate clothing for the weather

Bring a water bottle or camelback to stay hydrated

We are excited to help the Snow Bowl staff get the mountain ready for winter!

Satuday, November 25th:  VARA Parade of Athletes

VARA Parade of Athletes at the opening of the FIS Women's World Cup in Killington, VT. You must have pre-registered with Meg Howard to participate.
